Kruger2Canyon Challenge partners with PURA Beverages to Sweat the Good Stuff in the Lowveld

Kruger2Canyon Challenge is thrilled to announce PURA Beverages as the official hydration partner in 2024! No stranger to K2C, PURA Soda was on everyone’s lips at the finish line in 2023 and their latest creation, PURA Hydration, will make sure that no-one is found lacking in the electrolyte department come July 2024!

The Kruger2Canyon Challenge is an annual two-day trail running event that takes place from 6 – 7 July 2024 in Kampersrus, just outside Hoedspruit, Limpopo. The routes explore Mariepskop Mountain and the Blyde River Canyon on day 1, and a local game reserve on day 2. Known for the tough physical challenge, participants experience the vast diversity of the area on foot, a once-in-a-lifetime experience for many.

New to the PURA range is an electrolyte drink, PURA Hydration – infused with Mediterranean marine salts, electrolytes and natural ingredients, runners can expect to “Sweat the Good Stuff” even when climbing the tough terrain and soaking up the Lowveld scenery!

As the official Hydration Partner, runners will be greeted on arrival with a PURA Soda – perfect way to refresh after travelling while watching the Lowveld sun sink behind the mountain. Aid stations on both days will be stocked with PURA Hydration and the KidZone will keep children’s thirst at bay with maximum flavour but minimal sugar!

The Kruger2Canyon Challenge is more than a race – a portion of each entry fee is donated to the Kruger to Canyons Biosphere, a conservation organisation working together with partners to foster a sustainable environment for all life within this UNESCO-recognised biosphere area.
